These Terms of Service govern use of the Alero Compliance website and purchase or use of Alero Compliance services. Alero Compliance is operated by AleroCore Technologies, Inc. Agreement Structure
The customer agreement may include these Terms, the selected package Service Scope, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, a Customer Service Agreement or recorded checkout acceptance, and any written change order. Package-specific terms control over general website summaries. If an executed Customer Service Agreement conflicts with these Terms, the executed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the business or registrant receiving services. You represent that the information and approvals you provide are accurate, current, lawful, and authorized. Alero Compliance may request verification, pause work, or decline service when authority, identity, eligibility, consent, or information cannot be reasonably verified.
Service Packages
The complete selected Service Scope—not this summary—defines the exact deliverables, assumptions, units, exclusions, correction limits, completion standard, support period, and customer responsibilities.

Payment and Start of Work
The selected professional service fee is due in full before work begins unless Alero Compliance approves different written terms. Payment alone does not necessarily mean substantive work has begun. Work begins when Alero performs a substantive task described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy for the selected package. Applicable taxes and all third-party charges are separate.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, consistent, current, and authorized business or registrant information and disclose every online and offline SMS opt-in method.
- Maintain an active GoHighLevel account, eligible telephone number, domain and website access, required integrations, and sufficient third-party funds or credits.
- Supply or approve Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, consent language, forms, messages, and business representations and obtain qualified legal review when needed.
- Use only properly consented contacts, retain consent evidence, honor STOP and HELP, and keep actual messaging behavior consistent with the approved campaign.
- Provide least-privilege temporary access or attend guided sessions. Do not send passwords or sensitive identifiers through ordinary email, SMS, public forms, GoHighLevel notes, or project-management comments.
- Review prepared information and configuration and provide timely, written approval before submission, activation, or launch.
- Respond to written requests for information, access, implementation, correction, testing, or approval within 10 business days.
Eligible Sole Proprietor Path
A customer that does not use an EIN may be eligible for a provider-supported U.S. sole-proprietor registration path. Eligibility is determined by the applicable provider and may change. Alero Compliance does not guarantee eligibility. If a sensitive tax identifier is required, the customer must enter it directly through the approved secure provider process. Alero Compliance will not request that the number be placed in ordinary website forms, email, SMS, GoHighLevel notes, Monday.com, or routine project documents.
Approvals and Change Control
The customer must review and approve applicable business information, registration pathway, campaign description, opt-in explanation, sample messages, policy content, consent language, form behavior, workflow logic, and testing results before the related submission or launch. Work beyond the selected package or caused by changed requirements, customer modifications, inaccurate information, new campaigns, new forms, new integrations, or new use cases requires separate written approval and may require an additional fee.
Customer Delays and Inactive Files
The schedule pauses while Alero Compliance waits for required customer action. If the customer does not provide a complete response within 10 business days after a written request, Alero may place the file on inactive hold. If no complete response is received within five additional business days, Alero may close the file and deliver usable work completed to date. Reactivation within 30 calendar days depends on current information, valid access, available capacity, and the original scope. Additional work or retesting may require a separately approved fee.
Third Party Services and Charges
GoHighLevel, carriers, registries, registration partners, domain providers, telephone providers, messaging providers, payment processors, identity-verification providers, and other platforms are independent third parties. Their charges, rules, availability, review times, decisions, and policies are outside Alero Compliance’s control. The customer is responsible for third-party charges and sufficient connected-account funds or credits. Alero Compliance does not control or refund third-party charges.
No Approval Delivery or Timing Guarantee
Alero Compliance provides technical and operational assistance designed to improve preparation and implementation quality. Final approval, processing, delivery, filtering, and continued acceptance decisions are made by third parties. Alero Compliance does not guarantee approval, review time, message delivery, delivery rate, inbox placement, revenue, or continued carrier or platform acceptance. A denial, delay, correction request, or later third-party action does not by itself create a right to a refund.
No Legal Advice
Alero Compliance does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or a legal opinion. Reviews of policies, consent language, and disclosures are operational and technical reviews for consistency with the selected service and known platform or carrier-facing requirements. Customers remain responsible for obtaining advice from qualified counsel concerning their legal obligations.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the website or services to facilitate unlawful, deceptive, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, prohibited, or unauthorized messaging; evade provider requirements; misrepresent identity or consent; interfere with systems; introduce malicious code; or access information without authorization. Alero Compliance may pause or terminate work when it reasonably identifies a compliance, consent, fraud, security, or platform risk.
Access Security and Customer Systems
Alero Compliance will use approved access only for the selected service and will seek to limit access to the necessary systems and period. Customers remain responsible for their accounts, users, credentials, backups, platform configurations, and changes made outside the approved engagement. Temporary access should be removed after completion and verification. No security control eliminates all risk.
Intellectual Property and Deliverables
Each party retains ownership of materials it owned before the engagement. Upon full payment, the customer may use final customer-specific deliverables created for the completed engagement for its internal business operations. Alero Compliance retains ownership of its general methods, templates, know-how, tools, reusable structures, and pre-existing materials. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ terms. Drafts, internal notes, testing tools, and materials not identified as customer deliverables are not transferred.
Electronic Communications and Acceptance
You consent to receive service-related communications electronically at the approved contact information. Electronic signatures, checked acknowledgment boxes, recorded online acceptance, payment following acceptance, and written email approval may be used as evidence of agreement and authorization, subject to applicable law. Keep copies of the documents and versions presented to you.
SMS Communications
When you separately authorize SMS communications, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a service. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. An SMS opt-out applies to the affected messaging program and does not cancel a purchased service, terminate these Terms, or prevent Alero Compliance from sending necessary notices through another legally permitted and approved channel.
Telephone numbers, SMS opt-in records, and text-messaging consent will not be disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. They may be disclosed to service providers only as necessary to deliver authorized communications, maintain consent and opt-out records, secure the service, or comply with law.
Cancellation Refunds and Termination
Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy accepted for the engagement. Alero Compliance may suspend or terminate access or services for nonpayment, lack of cooperation, inaccurate or prohibited information, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or third-party restriction. Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred or provisions that reasonably survive termination.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an as-available basis. Alero Compliance disclaims warranties not expressly stated in an executed agreement, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AleroCore Technologies, Inc., Alero Compliance, and their personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost messaging opportunity, or third-party platform action arising from the website or services. To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability for a claim arising from a purchased service will not exceed the professional service fee paid to Alero Compliance for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
Disputes and Written Resolution
Before filing a claim, the parties should make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter by written notice to support@alerocompliance.com describing the issue and requested resolution. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief when legally available or limits nonwaivable rights. Any governing-law, venue, arbitration, or attorney-fee provision must appear in the executed Customer Service Agreement or another separately accepted writing.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for future website use and future engagements. The current version will identify its effective date. Material changes will not alter an already accepted package scope or signed agreement unless the customer and Alero Compliance approve the change in writing or the change is legally required.
